Map | Readiness Diagnostics

Know exactly where you stand.

What is Map?

Map is a focused three- to four-week diagnostic for marketing and communication leaders. It shows how your team really works today. You see the structural gaps, the risks, and where AI agents can create value first.

The problem it solves

Many teams have layered AI onto workflows built for people. The result is a ghost operating model, with fragmented adoption, unclear accountability, governance gaps, and weak returns.

What we do

We assess how your marketing or communication team actually operates. This includes the workflows, decision rights, and trust-critical processes the org chart never shows. Your team helps choose the workflow we look at closely, so the focus comes from the people who know the work and how it’s delivered.

What you get

The Map Pack, shared as a PDF pre-read, then walked through in a short presentation that ends with your decision.

  • Need-to-know insights, your readiness index and band, and the six pillars
  • What we found in the work, with the workflow mapped as it really runs
  • Why this workflow was chosen from your team's nominations, and the foundations a pilot needs
  • Top opportunities for agents, and what would get in the way
  • The time the work takes today, with an estimated range of time that could be freed up, and clear next steps

How does a Map engagement run?

WhenWhat happens
Before week 1Agree on the outcome, the people, and how we work
Week 1Your team nominates workflows. Your sponsor selects one
Weeks 2 to 3Interviews, an intake survey, and the evidence of how work runs
Weeks 3 to 4The Map Pack, a readout, and your decision on next steps

Typical timing. We confirm it with you at the start. Larger enterprise teams usually take four to five weeks. Map is delivered as a founding-client proof of concept.

How Map works with your team

  • Your team points to the work. A 10- to 15-minute survey asks at least five people who touch the work where their time goes and where it gets stuck. They can include partners, stakeholders, and internal clients of your team. Answers are not attributed to anyone, and results are reported only for groups of five or more. Nothing is reported until at least five people respond. If fewer than five respond, the group joins a 45-minute session instead
  • You see the evidence. We ask for documentation and real examples, such as a recent output or an approval thread. We never need access to your systems
  • The owner confirms it. Your workflow owner walks us through the work step by step and confirms the map shows how it really happens
  • Beacon checks it first. Beacon checks the evidence and every number before anything is written up
  • People sign off, not agents. Every sign-off belongs to a named person on your team. Your sponsor sets the scope, your workflow owner confirms the evidence, and your sponsor decides what comes next
  • Your information stays yours. You lend it for the engagement. It remains your IP, and it is never used to train any AI model that Avalier or its collaborators use

The crew that works with you

In Map, the Avalier agents work alongside your team. Relay gathers intake. Scout surfaces discovery detail and market signal. Herald shapes the findings into your Map Pack. Cadence runs the repeatable analysis. Steward keeps the work on course. Beacon holds quality steady, so conclusions are defensible.

Questions about Map

Who should take part?
An executive sponsor, a point of contact, and the owner of the selected workflow, who walks us through it. A few senior leaders join interviews. We invite at least five people who touch the work to an online survey, and they can include partners, stakeholders, and internal clients. If fewer than five respond, the group joins a 45-minute session instead.
How much of my team's time does it take?
Leaders join a recorded interview of about an hour. The people invited complete a 10- to 15-minute nomination survey, and those close to the selected workflow complete a longer intake survey of about 30 minutes. We do the heavy lifting.
What happens after Map?
You decide. Your sponsor chooses to move the selected workflow into Chart, switch to another workflow from your team's list, or pause. Whatever you choose, the Map Pack is yours to guide next steps.
